FIDIA ADVANCED BIOPOLYMERS has developed HYALOGRAFT 3D™, bringing the third dimension in tissue engineering.

 

HYALOGRAFT 3D™ is a tridimensional scaffold with unique properties, entirely composed of HYAFF ®. HYAFF is a biopolymer derived from Hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring molecule wich plays an essential role in the mantenance of the normal structure of the extracellular matrix.

 

HYALOGRAFT 3D™ is composed of HYAFF fibers processed into a tridimensional scaffold; autologous fibroblasts are seeded within this scaffold, where they find an ideal environment for their adhesion, proliferation and subsequent production of the dermal extracellular matrix.

 

Seven days after grafting, HYALOGRAFT 3D™ originates a well organized neo-dermis, perfectly integrated within the wound bed: its autologous nature guarantees a complete bio-integration.

 

HYALOGRAFT 3D™ is specifically indicated for the treatment of deep dermal lesions: non healing ulcers (vascular, diabetic, pressure sores III/IV stage, post traumatic ulcers), deep II degree and III degree burns.
